  3. Just when you thought it was quiet.....

  14. Yes,  I am back and I have to say a huge "SORRY!!" to all those who were
  15. worried  about  me and had contacted me without a reply.  This is due to
  16. the following reasons....
  17.  
  18. 1 - Me moving
  19.  
  20. 2 - Me losing a good friend and nearly having a breakdown  (serious!)
  21.  
  22. Yep,  its sure been traumatic ere in Croydon, the above have happened in
  23. three  months  flat,  nearly  cost  me  my job but thanks to a WONDERFUL
  24. person  at work (thanks Petula, luv ya!) I managed to fight a depression
  25. that threatened to swallow me up.
  26.  
  27. First,  my  new addy is Flat 7, Lower Addiscombe Road Croydon Surrey for
  28. correspondence.
  29.  
  30. Next, I struck up a friendship with the Operations Manageress last year,
  31. we  became  very close friends and I loved her madly but in late January
  32. she  left  the  Company  suddenly  leaving me on my own (she lives forty
  33. miles away) and I could`nt take not seeing her any more.  She had got me
  34. through  a rough patch in October and she was the reason I stayed in the
  35. job,  I  cried  solidly for two weeks in the evenings, lost two stone in
  36. weight  and  hit the bottle.  Its only thanks to the girl at work coming
  37. round  most  evenings  and  being  there for me that stopped me having a
  38. breakdown,  its  the  fact that I had a hand to hold that got me through
  39. it.

  41. Its  funny  how  you  take  to people, I fell for this girl big time, we
  42. would  go  out  at lunchtime, she trusted me and I trusted her, we would
  43. even  hold hands whilst walking along.  But get this, we never shared an
  44. intimate  relationship and only kissed once to my knowledge.  So why was
  45. I so blown away about her leaving??
  46.  
  47. Answer - Because at the time I was desporately lonely and she was the
  48.          only mate I had, and to lose her was like losing a sister.

  51. I  still  keep in touch with her in fact I phoned her yesterday, she has
  52. gone  contracting  (so have I, see seporate article) and is enjoying it,
  53. good luck to her thats what I say.

  56. So,  I`m  back  for now and I intend to stay on the Amiga for a while at
  57. least,  given  all  my problems over the past few months its great to be
  58. back.  Expect some quality demos soon.
